Confidentiality
& Ethics

My commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice is not merely professional — it is deeply personal.

Attorney-Client Privilege

Every communication made in the context of seeking legal advice is legally privileged. This protection belongs to you as the client — and I honour it absolutely.

Bar Council Compliance

I adhere strictly to the rules and code of conduct prescribed by the Bar Council of India, maintaining the highest standards of professional behaviour at all times.

No Conflict of Interest

I conduct thorough conflict checks before accepting any matter to ensure I can represent you with complete loyalty and without competing obligations.

Personal Commitment

Beyond legal obligation, I give you my personal word. Your trust will never be violated. Your story will never be shared. Your privacy will always be protected.

My Ethical Code

What Ethical Practice Means to Me

Ethics in law is not a constraint — it is the foundation. Without ethical practice, there is no genuine legal representation, only performance.

I believe a lawyer's greatest asset is not their knowledge of the law — it is the trust of their clients. That trust is earned through consistent, ethical, transparent practice. It is earned by never overpromising. By always disclosing conflicts. By treating every client's matter with the same care regardless of its size or complexity.

I am enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal and strictly observe all professional conduct rules. My practice is guided not just by the rules of the profession, but by a personal conviction that the law must serve justice — and that justice demands integrity.

"Confidentiality is not a policy — it is a promise. What you share with me in trust stays with me in trust. Always. Without exception."
